| Admission

Completed enrolment form is to be
submitted at least 3 days before commencement of a course. |

Registration fee is required to be deposited
at the time of submission of the enrolment form. |

Institute reserves the right to reject admission

| Payment
of Fees |
| • |
Admission fee and course ( as per selected plan)
has to be deposited at least 3 days before commencement of the
course. |

In case of installment plan, the monthly installment
is required to be deposited by the students before 7th of the
month. |
| • |
Fees not deposited by the due date will attract
a late fee of Rs. 10/- per day upto 15th of the month. Where
after the student will not be permitted to attend the class.
Such students may be permitted by the director to attend classes
after seeking readmission by paying readmission fee of Rs. 500/-. |

The fees once paid is not refundable. |
| • |
Student who is enrolling for more than one certificate
course having duration of more than three months may pay lump
sum fee or in installments. |
| a) In case
the student is paying in lump sum at the beginning of the course
then he/she will
be given 5% additional discount. |
| b) Fees once paid
is not refundable. |
| • |
Registration fees is valid for one month only.
The student who has done one course will not have to pay registration
fees if he/she joins for another course within one month of
completion of the previous course. However if student takes
admission for another course after one month of the completion
of previous course then he/she will have to pay registration
fees for the new course. |

| Attendance |
| • |
Students are expected to attend their classes regularly and
maintain a minimum attendance of 90% in a semester/module. |
| • |
Students absenting himself without sanctioned leave will attract
an absent fees of Rs. 5/- per day. |
| • |
Students absenting for more than one week without pre-sanctioned
leave will be required to pay readmission fee of Rs. 500/- |
| • |
In exceptional case a student may be permitted a break of
more than 1 week, by the Director/nominated representative,
on submission of an application giving reason for such long
absence. A break fee of Rs. 200/- p.m. will be payable by such
a student. |

| Examination |
| • |
Students will be required to appear in all class tests and
periodic examinations. |
| • |
Students not able to appear in a test/examination will be
required to pay a retest fee of Rs. 25/- each for theory and
practical test/examination. |
| |
Exemption of retest fee will be permitted only
on submission of a medical certificate from a qualified doctor. |
| |
|
| Fee Concessions |
| The following categories are eligible for 10%
fee concession. |
| • |
Dependents of acs employees. |
| • |
Students securing 70% and above marks in their last Board
examination. |
| • |
Doctors, Engineers and Engineering
students, Ph.Ds and Ph.D. students. |
| • |
Wives, children and members of
the Defense/Para-Military forces. |
| • |
In case a student's brother/sister
is also studying in the institute and continues to be on its
rolls for the full course duration. |
| • |
Doctors, Nurses, Staff of PGI
and their dependents. |
| |
| Employees of acs are
eligible for 25% fee concession. |

|
| |
| • |
All students will be awarded certificate on successful
completion of the course. |
| • |
The certificates can be either collected personally or sent
by post to the address of the student. |
| • |
In case a student wants his/her certificate to be sent by
post, he/she will be required to submit a request in writingalong
with a sum of Rs. 25/- towards postal/registration charges. |
| • |
In case of loss of certificate by a student,
a duplication certificate can be issued after submission of
an affidavit counter signed by an oath commissioner and a fee
of Rs.100/- is chargeable for the same. |

| Discipline |
| • |
Students will reach the class and be seated
on time. |
| • |
Students will maintain silence in the class. |
| • |
Students will be courteous to the teacher/faculty
and will not indulge in argument. |
| • |
In case a genuine doubt, the students may
take an appointment with the teacher for clarification subsequent
to the class. |
| • |
In case a student is disrespectful to the
teacher/faculty, he/she may be rusticated from the institution.
He/she will not be entitled to any refund of fee in such a case. |
| • |
Students will ensure proper parking of their
vehicles so as not to obstruct other vehicles. |
| • |
Students will take proper care of the computer
equipment and other property of the institution and ensure prevention
of any damage to the same. |
| |
In case a student is found having damaged any
equipment/property he/she will be required to make good the
loss. |
| |
| Change
of Course |
| • |
A student attending a course may change to
a course of longer duration. In this case he/she will be exempted
from paying the registration fee for the extended course. The
course fee for the extended period will be charged according
to the prevalent fee structure. |
| • |
Change of course from longer duration to a
shorter duration is not permitted |

| |
| Scholarship |
| Students securing good marks in
previous board examination will get scholarship as follows:- |

Student who is availing of any
fee concession is not eligible for the scholarship. In case
a student wants to avail of the scholarship he/she will have
to pay full fees. |

After first Semester, Scholarship will be based
on first semester result. |

| Submission
of Project |
| • |
Submission of project work is compulsory for
the students within allowed time period. |
| • |
Firstly Protocol is to be written and submitted
stating objectives of the project, methodology, review of literature,
etc. |
| 1) Objectives of the project
should the clearly specified. |
| 2) Methodology of the following
are to be covered. |
| a) Sub-modules
in which project is divided. |
| b) The data and
source of collection of data. |
| c) The files and
the structures of the database files. |
| d) Menu structures
to be defined. |
| e) Programme code
to be written in the documen |
The Protocol should be shown to
the Project Guide in rough form and after the approval by the
project guide a fair copy of the same in a register should be
submitted to the project guide.
Project should be started only after the signature of Project
Guide and and Director on the Protocol (fair document). |

| 3) Review
of Literature |
| a) Students
should study and mention similar projects submitted by
old students. |
| b) Students should
study and mention the books and other literature for preparation
of the project. |
| • |
The computer time allowed for completion of
a project is 35-40 hrs. or as fixed after permission from the
Director. |
| • |
The student is required to complete the project
on computer and submit it in a bound form with certificate before
the last date fixed by the Instructor. |
| • |
A student is allowed to use the computer only
during time allocated for the purpose. |
| • |
If the project is not completed within the
stipulated time period, the extension for the same may be granted
by the Director. A payment or Rs. 10.00 per day is chargeable
for the extension period. |
| • |
An amount of Rs.20/- per hour is chargeable
for computer time during the extension period. |
| • |
In case student fails to submit project during
the extension period as permitted by the Director, the Institute
will not accept the project. Certificate of completion of the
project will not be issued to such students. |
